Neive, described as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is perched on a hill, from which you can see expanses of vineyards, places of production of DOCG and DOC wines such as: Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbaresco and the Moscato d’Asti. The town of Neive is 10 km from Alba, about 79 km from Cuneo and 27 km from Asti.
As for Alba, Barbaresco, Barolo, Asti, Grinzane Cavour and La Morra, also the territories of Neive each year give the Trifolau or truffle hunters many rare pearls that are black and white truffles.

If you don’t have your own car you can require from your hotel in Langhe our private taxi service that will drive you in your truffle tour experience.
Upon your arrival in the forest where you will go in search of the truffle, your Trifolau will welcome you and will be the one who will walk you, along with his faithful dog, among the trees in search of truffles. You will be told some tricks and what they are and how to find truffles.
Equipped with rubber boots, you can start hunting for truffles and discover how truffle hunters find unique and fragrant pieces every year.

At the end of your truffle hunting experience, we will have lunch in Neive to taste the traditional dishes.
Around 2 pm we will move to a family-run winery where you will visit the winery and taste 6 different wines accompanied by a cutting board of typical Piedmontese products.
A memorable experience for all the senses and undoubtedly a highlight of my visit to Langhe Region.
A small intimate group of 3 were led by Marco, our trifulao, friendly and knowledgeable guide. We met in the hills behind Barolo somewhere at an authentically rustic and picturesque city square.
The hunt itself an easy walk. We were fascinated by the cohesion between Marco and Roky working together in such beautiful countryside.
After that, we had a special wine tour in Barolo and Barbaresco.
First off, our Driver, Mario, was FANTASTIC! He kept us entertained and made our trip extremely enjoyable! The Luxury car picked us up on time and escorted us safely from winery to winery. We spent ample time at each of the four wineries. Overall, a great experience with this company! A+
